625VA mains Toroidal isolation transformer with di-electric strength between primary and secondary windings >2500V,enclosed in a well naturally vented steel enclosure.
Fitted with a medical grade toroidal isolation transformer.
IMPORTANT :
This unit has the earth connected to the mains sockets (see the circuit diagram on the back of the unit) and this unit may not be suitable for testing electronic equipment where the earth would not be required.We have on our other listing where the unit is supplied for electronic/electrical test benches/labs.
A balanced isolation transformer such as this one is used for cancelling mains interference to earth.
Not suitable for reducing mains noise for amplifiers.
